What do you enjoy doing most in your leisure time?
I’ve always had some type of hobby to help me relax and unwind. I use to knit all the time but with the arthritis, I’m unable to knit much. The last 6 months or so I’ve taken up quilting. My mother in law is a master quilter and has the patience of a saint. She’s taught me so much!
Quilting is so much fun and I love the creativity. Choosing the right colors and patterns. I love sitting in front of the sewing machine and just being able to relax my mind. I find so much joy in it.
The best part is seeing my creations in the hands of those I’ve given them to. My life is so busy but I always find time to quilt.
So many thanks to my mother in law! She’s one of the best humans I’ve ever met! She’s not just my mother in law but also my sewing partner and the best part, my friend. I’ve been so blessed to be able to form a relationship with her. A friendship I will cherish for a lifetime.
