What would you change about modern society?

What would I change about modern society? I wish we could go back to the days where it wasn’t all about ourselves, it was about helping your community, loving your neighbors, wanting to be a better person.

So much about todays society is about others not caring about others. When I was a kid in a small town, if someone got sick or was injured, the community would get together to help however we could. Whether that was helping on their farms or just delivering a warm meal. We helped and cared for each other.

You still see that some today but not like it was 30, 40 years ago.

I remember when I was a kid, my father got injured working on the farm and the neighbors rallied, they helped with our farm chores and the ladies came visiting and offering us meals. They were there not just the first couple days but even a weeks later.

I miss the days where we cared for one another and only wanted to help and be the best version of ourselves. I try to live every day to be better than I was yesterday and even better tomorrow. (My late husband lived by this till his dying day)
