It’s only 2 p.m. and it’s already been a busy day. Woke up late and my birds were standing at the gates wondering where their bird mama was. Hurry up and get outside to care for them. They were not very pleased with me for sure. I got major attitude from the bantams. (When do they not have attitudes though)
Spent a good majority of the morning designing items for my Etsy store and gardening. Ivan and I went to an auction a couple weeks ago and I bought some tomato plants. I have no clue why but I did. I spent the morning getting those planted and working on some other vegetable beds. All together I planted 20 new tomato plants. I really hope I have tomatoes running out of my ears. Maybe just maybe I can sell some and get my money back.
I’m waiting on Ivan to get home from work now. I’m sure he has a whole list of things that need done today. We are list people, we love checking items off.
This day is just getting started for us. It’s a nice cool day with overcast. I know we need the rain but lately it’s rained every day. Our barn is soaked. I can’t wait for it to dry out so we can pour concrete to finish it out. There is always something that needs done on the homestead.
